On Wednesday evening November 16, 2022, a cold and rainy night, St. Francis by the Sea was blessed with a visit by the Episcopal Bishop of Maine The Rt. Rev. Thomas J. Brown and The Rev. Cn.Michael Ambler, Canon to the Ordinary. Canon to the Ordinary.

The reason for the visit is because our Rector The Rev. Dr. Brent Was remains on medical leave. Last week we learned that his treatment at Mass. General in Boston had relieved the incredibly debilitating headaches he has suffered from for a year. Between those in the pews and on Zoom about 50 parishioners joined in the Q&A session to express their concerns and hopes as well as to receive comfort.
