This is a return for Allan! In 1994, he was called as vicar of St. Francis by the Sea, and it was his privilege to serve alongside them as they grew from mission to parish during his tenure.  

Allan retired from full-time parish ministry in 2020. He now divides his time between Atlanta, GA and his family’s home in Blue Hill. He has been married to Gretchen Nagy, an Atlanta attorney, for 34 years. 

The congregation’s former rector, the Rev. Brent Was, has resigned due to continuing illness. Please pray for Brent, Allan, and the people of St. Francis during this transition.
