On March 6, 2023, we formally said our final Goodbye to The Rev. Dr. Edward Dufresne. He was a dear friend of St. Francis by the Sea Episcopal Church in Blue Hill, Maine. He sang in the choir and was also a supply priest at the Altar many times as he was for St. Brendan the Navigator Episcopal Church in Deer Isle and Trinity Episcopal Church in Castine.

The three parishes held the funeral at St. Francis to an overflow crowd and this is a video of the whole Celebration of a Life Well Lived. The Rt. Rev. Thomas Brown, Episcopal Bishop of Maine, was the Celebrant assisted by The Rev. Allan Sandlin, Interim Rector for St. Francis. The Rev.Pastor Elaine Hewes, Priest in Charge at St. Brendan’s was the Preacher providing a very personal and loving eulogy. The Rev. Carlton and Lorna Russell, Ministers of Music.
